I am pleased to introduce the new range of everyday tableware ceramics. I have been working hard over the past few months in developing the form, practicality of a useable object and how I to use my inspiration of natural materials together.  By adding a new clay body to my work, I am able to achieve three different finishes to my mugs, bowls, tumblers, plates and sake sets.

The ivory glaze with the ash markings result in a white base with flashes of colour on the outside due to the ash on the surface while the celadon produces an intense green finish where the ash is on. By using the crank base and the celadon glaze, I am able to create a darker green finish and the ash resulting is dark green/almost black finish to the surface.

The mugs sell for £26 each and will be added to my online shop once I get around to creating one. Sake cups start from £16; my tumblers start from £22 and bowls range on the sizes and the decorativeness of the finish so prices will be around £30-200.

Do to the nature of my work, I won't be able to recreate the same finish twice. Each piece will be it's own statement piece and resulting in a unique produce.
