This small but delicate piece is one of my last piece from the wood firing I took part in during March, 2019.

Wheel thrown porceline piece with a celadon glaze and bronze details on the rim. As the bronze I use is high in manganese and due to the heat of the wood fired kiln, it ran in the kiln creating these beautiful marking. When the light hits the rim of the piece, you can see the shine of the bronze.

I have became attached to this piece but ready to sell it now.

90mm diameter rim.

70mm height.

One of a kind piece.

Fired in a wood kiln at Arbuthnott, Laurencekirk in Scotland.
